7/20/2009: Security forces shot dead Omar Toudji, a member of Al-Qa ida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM), in Dellys, Boumerdes province, Algeria. Omar Toudji, also known as Abou Abderrahmane, was shot as he was preparing to detonate a suicide belt targeting the coast guard.
