07/09/2009: On Thursday morning at approximately 0900, in the Al Karradah district of Baghdad, Iraq, assailants detonated a roadside improvised explosive device near the motorcade transporting the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, killing one civilian, wounding three others and two bodyguards, and damaging a civilian car and one motorcade vehicle. The Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) claimed responsibility.
