05/17/2009: On Sunday morning, in Muang, Pattani, Thailand, armed assailants fired upon Satja Sirimet, 45, a hospital employee, while he was driving on the highway, killing the civilian and damaging the civilian's vehicle. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed Muslim separatists were responsible.
