Incident Summary:

04/29/2009: On Wednesday, in Maidan, North West Frontier, Pakistan, unidentified militants opened fire on and damaged an Al-Jazeera network’s vehicle covering the incidents of the Swat valley, where clashes occurred involving Pakistani army and Taliban militants. A reporter was injured and two of his colleagues were injured and kidnapped. No group claimed responsibility for the attack. The status of the hostages remains unknown.
