Incident Summary:

04/07/2009: On Tuesday night at 0130, a home-made bomb, made from a mortar shell, exploded under a bridge in Muara Tami district 40 kilometers (25 miles) from the Papua provincial capital Jayapura, Papua region, Indonesia. No damage or casualties occurred as the bomb fell into the river prior to detonating. Soldiers also found and detonated two other bombs that had failed to explode because of faulty fuses. No group has claimed responsibility.
