03/25/2009: On Wednesday, suspected rebels from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), bombed a mayor's building, 42 residences around the building were damaged by the explosion in Ipiales, Narino. In the attack four persons were wounded, amongst them a minor. No group claimed responsibility.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack. Success is not judged in terms of the larger goals of the perpetrators.
