03/17/2009: On Tuesday afternoon, a humanitarian worker was killed in the no-fire zone of northern Sri Lanka when his leg was severed by a shelling, and due to a lack of access to appropriate medical care, he later died. The worker is identified as R. Sabesan. No group has claimed responsibility.
