Incident Summary:

03/15/09: On Sunday morning, in Chatabia, Tbessa, Algeria, a vehicle triggered two improvised explosive devices (IED) planted by assailants the night before, killing one government official and three civilians, wounding one civilian, and damaging the vehicle as it was traveling to the site where ranchers were attacked. No group claimed responsibility, although it was believed al-Qaida Organization in Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) was responsible.
