Incident Summary:

03/02/2009: On Monday at 2045, suspected rebels torched a communications facility of Globe Telecom in Pantukan, Compostela Valley. About 30 armed assailants, clad in military uniform, posed as soldiers to gain entry into the facility in Purok 7 in Sitio (sub-village) Riverside, Napnapan village, then disarmed the lone guard and burned the facility. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed the New People's Army/Communist Party of Philippines (NPA-CPP) was responsible.
