Incident Summary:

03/01/2009: On Sunday at 2345, a Globe communications facility in Paquibato district, Philippines was set on fire by New People's Army (NPA) rebels. The attack was a punishment for Globe because the company allowed the military to use its compound there to harass residents. No casualties were reported from the attack. The NPA claimed responsibility by text message to the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
