Incident Summary:

01/31/2009: On Saturday, in Rusoh, Narathiwat, Thailand, in a drive-by shooting, two armed assailants fired upon and killed a religious leader at the Ban Savor mosque. The religious leader, Awae Salama, was followed from a market and shot three times in the back. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed Muslim separatists were responsible.
