01/16/2009: On Friday, in Miliana near Ain Defla, Algeria, ten armed Islamists stopped a vehicle carrying an Algerian customs officer at a fake barricade and slit the officer's throat. There was no damage or motive reported. Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb is being blamed for the attack.
