01/12/2009: On Monday, Somali insurgents launched a mortar attack on the presidential palace in Mogadishu. According to reports, an unknown number of mortars were fired at the palace, during a meeting between the Somali Prime Minister, African Union, and Ethiopian military commanders. No casualties were caused by this attack. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
