01/11/2009: On Sunday, near Wana, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan, armed assailants kidnapped two government officials. Two days later, one of the officials, Amir Latif, was safely released. No group claimed responsibility, but the Taliban are suspected to be responsible.
