Incident Summary:

01/04/2009: On Sunday, in Khanaqeen, Diyala, Iraq, a roadside bomb targeted Iranian pilgrims who were on their way to Karbala to commemorate the anniversary of the Imam Hussein's death in the battle of Karbala. Five Iranians were wounded in the attack, no damage was reported, and no group has claimed responsibility.
