Incident Summary:

12/17/2008: On Wednesday, near Wana, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan, armed militants shot and killed a civilian whom they accused of being a spy for the U.S. The body was found in the middle of a road near Wana, and a note found on the body said that all those spying for the U.S. will suffer the same fate. No one claimed responsibility, although the Taliban was suspected to be responsible.
