Incident Summary:
12/13/2008: On Saturday night, at 1915, unidentified militants lobbed a hand grenade at the house of Thamotharam Jeevathas, Tamil Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal (TMVP) member of Vaazhaichcheanai Piratheasa Chapai (Pradeshiya Sabah), in Chanthiveli, Jeevapuram in Earavoor, 19 km north of Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. The front portion of the house was damaged in the attack. No casualties were reported, and no group claimed responsibility.
