11/27/2008: On Thursday, suspected Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam militants shot and killed a Hindu priest, identified as Subramanium Kamalaraj, the chief priest of the Sri Sivamuttu Kali Amman Kovil, in the Mamangama area of the Batticaloa district in Sri Lanka's Eastern province. No group claimed responsibility.
