11/17/2008: On Monday, Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-M) militants shot and killed a village head of Peta under Motu police station, Ponda Reddy, in the Malkangiri district of Orissa, India. They believed he was an informer for the police. The CPI-M left behind a handbill claiming responsibility for the murder.
