Incident Summary:

09/22/2008: On Monday morning at about 1155, suspected Iraqi Al Qaeda insurgents detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device on Attar Street across from a government building that issues national identification cards in Baghdad's Karradah neighborhood, Baghdad province, Iraq. The car bombing attack killed at least two civilians and injured at least seven others and caused an unknown amount of damage to eights cars, several shops, a residential building, and the government building. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident.
