Incident Summary:

06/12/2008: On Thursday morning shortly after dawn, Hassan Abdi, a UN World Food Program driver, was shot and killed by unknown gunmen near the village of Leego north of Mogadishu, Banaadir province, Somalia. Abdi was part of a convoy of WFP-contracted trucks carrying 328 metric tons of WFP food from Mogadishu to Bay and Bakool regions. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident.
