06/10/2008: On Tuesday, unknown gunmen attacked a Nigerian security vessel in the Niger Delta. This was the second vessel to be attacked in two days and was leased by Addax Petroleum. Nine sailors were killed and four civilians were wounded in the early morning attack. No group claimed responsibility.
