05/28/2008: On Wednesday morning, in Kirkuk, At Ta'mim, Iraq, assailants detonated a roadside bomb, targeting Colonel Fo’ad Shwani’s convoy, the deputy of emergency police in Kirkuk. The blast wounded one of the security guards, but caused no reported damage. There was no motive reported and no group claimed responsibility.
