05/19/2008: On Monday at about midnight, in Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, India, assailants kidnapped one village head and three civilians from their villages. On 05/20/2008, the bodies of the village headman and one civilian were recovered. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) was responsible.
