Incident Summary:

04/14/2008: On Monday, in Ganeshthan, Nuwakot, Nepal, 25 assailants used stones and sickles to assault and wound Ram Sharan Mahat, the Nepalese Finance Minister, and eight Nepali Congress members. There was no damage reported and no group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist)/United People's Front was responsible.
