Incident Summary:

04/13/2008: On Sunday, two improvised explosive device attacks occurred within five minutes of each other in Zamboanga City. One was planted under a van parked inside the compound of the Catholic cathedral and the other was planted in front of a coffee house that also houses the office of the Department of Foreign Affairs. No casualties were reported. No group claimed responsibility but it was widely believe that the Abu Sayyaf Group was responsible.
