04/08/2008: On Tuesday morning in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, a group of unidentified assailants invaded the Delta State House of Assembly and manhandled a former speaker. Armed police were called into maintain peace at the complex. An object suspected to be a bomb was discovered at an entrance to the complex. There were no reports of casualties. No group has claimed responsibility.
