03/08/2008: Habib Khan, the intelligence chief of Dwa Monda District, was assassinated by the Taliban on his way to work after gunmen approached the intelligence officer Darnomayo area. Police claim Khan was only wounded while the Taliban's Zabihollah Mojahed says he was indeed assassinated.
