Incident Summary:

02/21/2008: The Kuwaiti Embassy in Beirut was evacuated after an employee received an anonymous threat that the embassy would be targeted with two rockets at 10:00 a.m. local time. This threat came in the wake of a lawsuit filed by Kuwaiti lawyers against Shiite MPs for holding a rally in memory of Imad Muganiyeh, the infamous Hezbollah leader who was killed in a car bomb in Damascus days earlier. No explosion occurred and no group has claimed responsibility for this threat.
