Incident Summary:

02/16/2008: At approximately 8:00 p.m. local time in Mingora, Swat District of Pakistan, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive in a car killing two civilians in front of the army media center, which is adjoined to the Mingora Hostel. The Hostel was being used as a Pakistani military base at the time of this incident and may have been the intended target, had the suicide bomber been successful in gaining access into same. This bombing also injured 34 individuals, including 10 security personnel stationed at and/or near the bomb site. No group claimed responsibility for this attack
