Incident Summary:

11/26/2007: Seven people, two teachers and five students, were injured by artillery fire that hit the school building in which they were housed in the Mannar district of Sri Lanka’s Northern Province. School buildings were also damaged in the barrage of fire. Army officials blamed the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) for the attack.
