11/19/2007: An Afghan doctor was abducted and murdered by the Taliban in Afghanistan’s Nuristan Province. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident and said his collaboration with American forces was the reason for his abduction and death. He was working with a nongovernmental organization called International Medical Corps.
