Incident Summary:

09/21/2007: Eight soldiers of a bomb rescue unit were injured when insurgents detonated the bomb and opened fire in Yala province, Thailand. The bomb was inside a fire extinguisher and was detonated by a battery. The exact names of the perpetrators were unknown although the province has been the site of continued insurgency.
