09/20/2007: Insurgents battled police in Murghab of the Badghis province in Afghanistan, killing four police officers. Twenty of the militants were believed to have been killed in the exchange, and nine were believed wounded. The Islamic militants attacked the police outpost, causing a gunfight that lasted roughly three hours.
