Incident Summary:

09/06/2007: In a series of attacks, explosives went off around the province of Yala, Thailand. In this incident, a bomb went off under a pickup truck parked near the Yala City Hall, but failed to cause any damage due to a faulty detonator. Around the same time, a bomb detonated at a minimart in Bannang Sata district, wounding five. An hour later another bomb exploded in a parking lot of an apartment in downtown Yala, but also failed to cause any damage. Bomb hoaxes occurring throughout the province at the same time caused a chaotic situation.
