Incident Summary:

06/17/2007: Gunmen attacked the Ogabainbiri oil field station in Bayelsa, Nigeria, owned by Eni, an Italian firm. Twenty-seven Nigerian workers were taken as hostages. After four days the hostages were released after troops drove out the gunmen, during the assault 12 of the captures were killed. No group claimed responsibility.
