06/13/2007: One Thai Army soldier was killed and another was wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by an unknown number of unknown perpetrators detonated adjacent to their patrol at approximately 10:00 AM on the road adjacent to the Niti Witthaya School in Tungyangdaeng District, Pattani Province, Thailand. No claim of responsibility was reported.
