06/06/2007: Four Sri Lankan civilians were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) perpetrators detonated and derailed a passenger train as it passed through Vakaneri village in Batticaloa, Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. No claim of responsibility was reported.
