06/05/2007: Four Kenyan civilians, including a village elder and his wife, were killed when an unknown number of Mungiki Sect perpetrators attacked them with edged weapons in the early morning in the Gitera village of the Kurau Division of Murang’a, Central Province, Kenya. No claim of responsibility was reported.
