06/04/2007: One Iraqi civilian construction worker was killed, 12 others were wounded, and an unspecified number of vehicles and buildings were damaged when an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unknown perpetrators detonated adjacent to their KIA minibus at approximately 8:00 AM near a monastery in Za’franiya neighborhood, Baghdad, Baghdad Governorate, Iraq. Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
