Incident Summary:

06/02/2007: One Algerian plainclothes municipal guard was shot and killed by three Al-Qai’da in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM) perpetrators firing small arms from a Renault-type vehicle at approximately 3:30 PM in Ait Kelili Municipality, Mekla, Tizi Ouzou Province, Algeria. AQLIM later claimed responsibility for the killing.
