Incident Summary:

04/26/2007: Over 100 suspected Taliban militants attacked the Giro district of Ghazni province, Afghanistan and killed five people including a mayor and police chief. The militants controlled the town for several hours and set fire to several buildings and cutting communication lines, until NATO forces drove them out of the area. No claim of responsibility was reported.
