Incident Summary:

04/13/2007: Five people, two of whom were children, were shot and killed by suspected members of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in the village of Chenkalady in eastern Sri Lanka. The LTTE, however, claimed that they were not responsible and instead blamed the Sri Lankan military for the deaths.
