Incident Summary:

4/11/2007: Unknown perpetrators, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic insurgency in Algeria, detonated a bomb targeting a natural gas pipeline between the municipalities of Skikda and Jijel in the region of Ain Sebih, Algeria. There were no casualties but a large portion of the pipeline was damaged and major quantities of natural gas were released. As a result, natural gas was cut from several regions in Jijel.
