02/27/2007: Around 10 am local time, a suicide bomber blew himself up at an entry gate at Air Base in Bagram, Afghanistan. 23 people were killed and 27 were wounded. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. The Vice President of the United States Dick Cheney was the target.
