02/26/2007: Suspected rebels attacked patrolling soldiers in Cassamance region, Senegal. One soldier was killed and 13 others were wounded. No group claimed responsibility for the attack. Armed rebels tried to disrupt the voting process in an area located between the villages of Samboulandiang, Wangara and Diouloulou.
