Incident Summary:

01/31/2007: Two simultaneous bombs struck separate areas in Baghdad, Iraq, killing at least six people and wounding 15 others. One of the blasts targeted a transit area in central Baghdad where minibuses transport civilians into Shi i neighborhoods. The attack occurred at 12:45 near the busy Shorja market, killing four people and wounding 12 others. At the same time, another parked car packed with explosives blew up in a religiously mixed neighborhood of Maamoun, killing two civilians and wounding three others. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
