Incident Summary:

12/05/2006: An unknown number of suspected Muslim insurgents detonated a homemade bomb in the streets of downtown Yala Muang district, Thailand, killing tow and injuring 18. The bomb, which was thrown under a table on the sidewalk, exploded at the Ruammitr-Wiphakul intersection while shoppers were doing their morning grocery shopping at roadside foods stalls. The explosion also damaged vehicles. No claim of responsibility was reported.
