11/21/2006: Two Italian Red Cross workers were kidnapped at gunpoint from their vehicle in southern Gaza. The Red Cross workers were stopped by an unknown number of unidentified assailants. No group took immediate responsibility. The workers were released less than 24-hours later; the identity of the kidnappers remained unknown.
