11/19/2006: An Afghan religious scholar was shot dead my an unknown number of unidentified gunmen in North Waziristan in Pakistan. No responsibility was immediately taken, but a note found on the body identified the man as Muhammad Hashim and warned that those spying for the United States would face the same fate.
